Grove Humane Society Benefit – “Cars for Critters” Indoor Car Show
While temperatures may hit 100 degrees in July, why not beat the heat with some good family fun! On Saturday, July 26, 2014, make plans to join the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake at its “Cars for Critters” Indoor Car Show at the Grove Civic Center from 11 am to 3 pm. Admission to the Car Show is free.
There will be food, music, raffles, door prizes, and lots of American Classic and European Exotic cars to view. Great family fun for everyone of all ages to enjoy – all to help the homeless animals!
Are you interested in showing off your classic car? Car show information and registration forms are available online at www.doitforthepets.com or contact Ivan Devitt, Chairman, at 918-791-8328. Registration will also be available at the Grove Civic Center on Friday evening, July 25, after 4 pm and on Saturday morning, July 26, from 7-11 am. Car entry fee is $10. Register early as indoor space will fill up quickly.
Trophies will be awarded for “Best of Show” and “Mayor’s Choice”. Also there will be dash plaques for car entrants and awards for Top 20 Models in categories 1985 and older and 1986 and newer. After 3 pm, cars can cruise to 3rd Street and back. So be sure to join the Grove Humane Society on Saturday, July 26, at its “Cars for Critters” Indoor Car Show.
