Taste Of Grand To Offer Tantalizing Cuisine To Benefit INTEGRIS Hospital Foundation

Grove, Okla. – The much-anticipated Taste of Grand is upon us, and more than two dozen area restaurants and caterers are making last-minute preparations to showcase their finest cuisine. The delectable event will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m., at 900 E. 13 Street in Grove. For the 10th year, Bank of Grove is the major event sponsor for Taste of Grand, which brings vintners and premier restaurateurs and caterers together to showcase their flairs for favor to raise money for the INTEGRIS Hospital Foundation.

TASTE OF GRAND2Along with scrumptious fares and delectable wines, beer and spirits, this year’s event will feature a wine pull, sponsored by Grove Dental Associates. For a $25 donation, event guests can participate in the wine pull and go home with a bottle of wine, the selection will range from a delightful table wine to an exquisite vintage wine. The fun is in how participants receive their prize – by tossing a ring around a bottle whose label has been covered.

For only $5, one lucky person will win the raffle prize: a side of beef courtesy of Elk River Farms and a freezer in which to store the meat courtesy of Lowe’s of Grove. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at area banks until 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 or they can be purchased at the event until 9 p.m. The winner need not be present at Taste of Grand to win, all proceeds from the raffle will benefit the INTEGRIS Grove Hospital Foundation Cancer Fund, which assists local cancer patients with various financial needs.

The evening will be enhanced not only with beautiful centerpieces created and provided by the Rusty Willow, but also by the music of the Wes Hart Band. The Fayetteville, Ark. group plays a wide variety of music from old favorites to current hits.

This year’s cuisine will be provided by an array of Grand Lake area restaurants and caterers including: Okie Smokies BBQ, American Grill, The Parrot Steakhouse & Grill, Rib Crib of Grove, Chickanella’s, La Casita de Martin, Pizza Hut of Grove, Silver Spoon Catering, Grand Lake Nutrition, The Summit at Shangri-La, The Shebang, Aqua Bar & Grill at The Landings, Harvest Fields Coffee & Tea, The Artichoke, Tera Miranda/The Quarter Deck, Arrowhead Yacht Club, Cherokee Yacht Club, Red Oak Steakhouse – Downstream Casino, JR Spanky’s, Indigo Sky Casino, Grand Lake Casino, Vision Vodka, Raggedy’s Café, Charlie’s Chicken, Las Palmeras Mexican Grill and JJ’s Wing-N-It Family Sports Spot.

In addition to the loyal group of wine purveyors who have been supporting the event for years, Goodman is also working with Vision Vodka and ecoVINO wines.

Taste of Grand would not be possible without the help of numerous area businesses whose generous donations ensured the event. Bank of Grove is the Major Event Sponsor for Taste of Grand.
