For admission and scholarship applications please contact Jennifer Hessee with questions at jennifer.hessee@neo.edu. The deadline to register is Monday, June 22. Space is limited.

This is the third consecutive year NEO will host the camp and continue the tradition of hosting a skilled artist to lead and teach, as well as encourage the young artists to explore new, different facets of artistry. The camp will focus on working with clay in various artistic techniques under the tutelage of local artist Jean Eslick, this year’s camp instructor.

Eslick is a Miami resident and art enthusiast who has professional experience in gallery art sales where she often used her creative eye. She is also well recognized for her encouraging nature, avid support and active involvement in NEO’s art programs. Eslick said she is excited to be teaching the art academy this summer and has been researching various projects with quick drying clay to ensure the students’ projects will be ready to take home by the end of the week.

“The NEO Foundation is proud to join forces with NEO Art Director Jessica Stout and offer this exciting opportunity for young artists to explore their artistic interests,” said Jennifer Hessee, executive director of the NEO Development Foundation. “Students will get a first-hand look at the beautiful Charles Banks Wilson Gallery and experience learning in a top notch facility.”

For more information please contact the NEO Foundation Office at 918-540-6250.
