GROVE, OK – Tim Bowen, president of INTEGRIS Grove Hospital, was recently named to the Becker’s Hospital Review, 2015 Rising Stars: 25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40 list.
This list of leaders includes impressive hospital, health system and accountable care organization executives who have accomplished much in their relatively short careers.
Bowen, 31, assumed the role as president of INTEGRIS Grove in January 2015. He previously served as CEO of Mena Regional Health System, a community hospital in Mena, Ark. He joined Mena Regional in 2006 as a nuclear medicine technologist before becoming an assistant administrator in 2010 and eventually serving as interim CEO prior to taking on the position permanently.
Chris Hammes, executive vice president and chief operating officer of INTEGRIS Health, is pleased with Bowen’s move to INTEGRIS. “Tim has earned an excellent reputation for his leadership skills and work ethic. He has a unique perspective and fresh approach to health care management. We are very pleased with what Tim has accomplished during his first eight months at INTEGRIS Grove, and look forward to a very successful future for the hospital under his leadership.”
Bowen said he is humbled by the recognition. “I am honored by the recognition from Becker’s. There are some extraordinary leaders in health care, and to be listed in the same company as these accomplished individuals is very humbling. I am fortunate that I have an exceptional team of leaders who support me each and every day. They are dedicated to our mission to improve the health of the people and communities we serve, while ensuring we are positioning ourselves to overcome the obstacles that are prevalent in our industry.”
Bowen earned an M.B.A. degree from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was named a Rising Star by Becker’s in 2013, as well.
The Becker’s editorial team considered nominations and selected leaders for this list through an editorial review process, including reviews of peer nominations.
