Har-Ber Village Museum hosts its second annual Chuck Wagon Dinner and Dance Under the Stars fundraising event on October 3, 2015. The evening starts at 6:00 pm with a “whet your whistle” social hour. As you stroll down Main Street, you’ll hear the sounds of village life—a blacksmith hammering at his forge, the printer printing handbills on a printing press and a weaver making rugs on the Village’s barn loom—as well as the sounds of music and the voices and laughter of people enjoying each other’s company.
Dinner will be served by Timbered-In Catering (pulled pork, smoked chicken quarters, three-meat baked beans, cheesy potatoes, cole slaw, corn bread, cobbler and ice cream, wine, beer and root beer) starting at 7:15 pm. Following dinner, dance to the sounds of Dueling Brothers (several of these band members entertained during Grove’s 4th of July event).
This year, as an added benefit of purchasing a table for this event, a saloon girl hostess will be provided. Be sure to dress Western style! Tickets are $70 per person or purchase a table of 10 for $1,000.
Membership opportunities for the 2016 season will be available, and to promote Har-Ber Village membership, Jack Wimer, Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC, will pay $25 for every membership purchased this evening at the Friend level ($100) or higher, up to $500.
If you would like us to save you a place around the campfire, you can purchase your tickets online at har-bervillage.com, call 918-786-6446, or visit the Country Store at Har-Ber Village. Seating is limited to 150. Tickets are on sale until September 25.
