Delaware County Precincts
Delaware County Candidates Filing to Begin April 9, for a runoff election scheduled for June 24th.
Statewide election activity begins officially at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, when the official candidate filing period opens, Dixie Smith, Secretary of the Delaware County Election Board, said today.
Candidates for state offices file with the Secretary of the State Election Board in Oklahoma City. Candidates for county offices file with the Secretary of the County Election Board.
Smith said that the following county offices will be filled this year:
- Assessor
- Treasurer
- County Commissioner No. 1
- County Commissioner No. 3
Offices to be filled by Special Elections:
- Monkey Island Fire Protection District Board Member Position No. 3
- Ketchum School Board Member Position No. 4
- Town of Bernice: One (1) Trustee, term to expire in April 2017; and One (1) Trustee, term to expire in April 2015.
